Mathilda Jean Grimwood (1924-1997) was a pure-blooded witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was a spinstress in her former years.
Early Life[]
Mathilda Grimwood was born in 1924 to wizarding parents and began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1935, having been sorted into Slytherin. She graduated from Hogwarts in 1942.
First Wizarding War[]
Grimwood gained a bad reputation during the First Wizarding War, that she aided death eaters in her home. These reports were, however, proved false.
After the war, she became a spinstress and was present in the Leaky Cauldron when Harry Potter first entered in 1991.
Death[]
During the Second Wizarding War, Grimwood was killed by an explosion in Diagon Alley in 1997. The explosion was caused by death eaters. She died, aged 73.
