Hazel Midgen (1891-1967) was a pure-blood witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in her youth from 1902 to 1909 and was sorted into Gryffindor.
Later Life[]
Hazel Midgen then joined the Ministry of Magic in the lower ranks of the Department of Magical Equipment Control in 1911. By 1926, she became Head of the Department and while there, married a wizard and they had at least one child who provided them with grandchildren; such as Edgar Midgen, whom she was quite close to. She divorced this husband and took custody of the children, retaining her maiden name at the same time.
She retired in 1951, aged 60, but not before making many acquaintances and friends within her time in the Ministry, including Albus Dumbledore.
