Early Life[]
Professor Draben Abritley (1955-1998) was a pure-blooded wizard and a cousin to death eater Harrison Abritley.
He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1966 to 1973 and was in Slytherin.
Crime[]
After graduating, Abritley started to con muggles as he was an accomplished seer. However, in 1977, he was caught and sentenced to Azkaban.
Hogwarts Employment[]
After serving his sentence in Azkaban, he was then employed by Albus Dumbledore as an Arithmancy teacher in 1981. He was seen at the Start-of-Term Feast in the 1991-1992 school year. He was not a death eater but did not support the Order of the Phoenix.
Battle of Hogwarts[]
On May 2nd 1998, he was killed during the Battle of Hogwarts when he tried to hide from the fighting but was hit by a stray curse.
